Overview of the Tour
The Khustai National Park of Mongolia is worldwide famous for its successful reintroduction of wild horse (Przewalski’s Horse), the only remaining wild horse, since 1992. In addition to the Takhi, as Mongolians call them, roaming freely here in their homeland once again, the park and its surrounding area have much to offer to the lovers of the nature and the culture of our beautiful country, located in the heartland of Asia. Incomes here is earned through entrance fee, accommodation, souvenir sale and donations, directly contribute to the Przewalski’s Horse reintroduction program, as well as other research and conservation projects being undertaken within the park and its bufferzone. The quality of the various ecosystems within the park assures an abundant wildlife. Terelj gives just a glimpse into the scenic majesty of Mongolia. You can hike up hills, or galloping on horses with a nomadic locals under the eternal blue sky. Chinggis Khaan Statue complex is an incredible piece of engineering and the largest statue on a horse in the world. The statue is beautifully done and surrounded by the mountains makes it a picture-perfect place.

- Day 1. Terelj National Park & Chinggis Statue Complex
Terelj gives just a glimpse into the scenic majesty of Mongolia. You can hike up hills, or galloping on horses with a nomadic locals under the eternal blue sky. Chinggis Khaan Statue complex is an incredible piece of engineering and the largest statue on a horse in the world. The statue is beautifully done and surrounded by the mountains makes it a picture-perfect place.
- Day 2. Khugnu Tarna Natural Reserve
and even a mineral water sources all in one location. The scenery is spectacular combination of desert, picturesque mountain, river and green grassland.
- Day 3. Kharkhorin, Orkhon Valley
Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape is one of only four UNESCO registered heritage sites in Mongolia. The Orkhon Valley is a must visit for tourists to experience the nomadic and lush greenland of Mongolia. Karakhorum was ancient capital of Great Mongol Empire in XIII century till Kublai khaan, grandson of Chinggis khaan moved it to current Beijing, China. Visiting Karakorum feels like a pilgrimage when visiting Mongolia. The Mongolian empire stretched further than any empire in the history of civilization, and its centerpiece and capital was Karakorum.
- Day 4. Hustai National park and back to Ulaanbaatar
Splendid national park and the privilege of seeing some of the planet´s only wild horses. The Hustai National Park is definitely worth a visit if you appreciate nature and wild animals! As usual with wild animals, the best time for spotting them is in the morning or in the evening. This is a wonderful place to see the famous Takhi horses up close and personal.
